The Soffit Restraint is suitable for restraining blocks ranging from 100 - 215mm thick as standard, restraints to suit alternative block sizes can be manufactured on request. A maximum offset of 25mm from the head of the wall to be restrained to the underside of the structure must be achieved. A standard Soffit Restraint is designed to be used with an M8 fixing, fixed through the 10mm diameter hole / slot in the restraint, this fixing would not be supplied as standard but is available on request.
